Dr. Olenka Bilash is Honorary Consul General of Japan in Edmonton and a professor at the University of Alberta. A 3M National Teaching Fellow, she has advised education initiatives across Japan, Korea, China, and Ukraine, and received Alberta's Centennial Medal for her contributions to Ukraine-Alberta relations and Cree language education.
