About this event

AfriCanada Expo is the premier platform for Africa–Canada trade and investment — bringing together African and Canadian governments, Heads of State, African Union and AfCFTA leadership, institutional investors, Indigenous Nations and business leaders, export-ready SMEs, and corporate executives to advance cross-border trade, industrial partnerships, and shared prosperity.

The inaugural 2026 edition in Edmonton drew ministers, mayors, and diplomats from across both continents, launched three new trade platforms, and closed with a formal policy statement calling on the Canadian government to establish a pre-clearance framework for credentialed delegates ahead of future editions.
