Mr. Lemma Yadecha is the Group Chief Commercial Officer of Ethiopian Airlines. Since joining the airline on September 06, 1999, he has served for more than 26 years in senior leadership roles, including Area Manager for Burkina Faso, Malaysia, and France, Director of Global Call Center, and Managing Director of Ethiopian International Services. Appointed Group Chief Commercial Officer on April 12, 2022, he leads sales, service, and flight operations coordination across international and domestic networks, oversees passenger and cargo commercial activities across outstations, and drives revenue strategy and implementation. He is responsible for ensuring customer-oriented schedules, product and pricing alignment, and effective operational support that enables global sales teams to deliver targets. Mr. Lemma holds a BSc in Civil Engineering and an MSc in Geotechnical Engineering from Addis Ababa University, as well as an MSc in Integrated Marketing Communication from the University of Mississippi, USA. He is married and a father of two children.
